About the Art
Style:
In most of the object photos and flower photos taken, there's a good usage of Emphasis. Contrast of colors is found in a lot of the images to draw your eye and emphasizing the focal point. Depending on the objecting they're taking a picture of they will either use natural light or artificial light. The photos they post can range from not professional with a low PPI to photos that could be printed and sold for a lot of money. Some of their photos remind me of what I would see when scrolling through instagram, in particular their object photos.

Philosophy:
The ideas behind the photos were more personal. On the website the photographer explains that they don't take the pictures for money but because he loves the beauty behind them. Hrushik even says "Capture a picture with a smile behind the lens." The photos that are taken for this company is driven by passion, not as much as to raise awareness of political and social issues. The companies landscape photos do show off their countries beauty. When looking at the architecture photos each building shows off the kind of environment and business savvy town they two live in.

Influences:
The photographer has caused me to concentrate more on lighting and how it causes the photos to change. In their work the artist focus's a lot on what kind of lighting to use to help set the scene. They have also made me pay attention more on blurring and how to create emphasis on the item I want people to look at through blurring. Their work exemplifies the images background and foreground. With this they usual make the background more blurry then the foreground. I have tried to follow this idea.

Compare and Contrast:
For the Sunglasses photo, the glasses and the angle are a bit different. The background could be a little more blurred out but I think it matches pretty well with the green hues. In both the soda picture and the candle picture, the lighting is different as well as certain details in the background. In the soda picture I didn't wait long enough for the condensation to build up on the glass which gave it the dewy look in the original. For the candle picture though, the camera I used made it hard to pick up the details of the flames without the whole picture looking brighter than it did compare to the original.

Artist Statement:
In the coke photo you can tell they're out to eat by the warm indoor lighting and the blurred figure of a person in the background. Its night time in the book picture. The setting is dark and the incandescent lighting is the only reason why the words can be seen. There is an eerie touch to the picture since the light from the flame only illuminates so much of the photo. In the sunglasses photo there is a reflection underneath the glasses which hint at some prior rain.
